Visit with Santa

As mentioned in the last blog we did make a trip to go see Santa on Sunday. It was very strange because it is was about 70 degrees! This threw off my plans for Eli's santa outfit. Poor Eli sweats in his car seat so I have to be careful not to over heat my chubby little boy. So the outfit I chose was a bit snug.... but what isn't these days!
As we are standing in line for santa I am just praying Eli stays awake and relaxed. We get to Santa and so far no melt down so I am relieved. I look over to a wall and see that it says our cameras only please. My heart sank! I was so bummed I could not take my own pictures. As I look back I am kicking my self for being such a rule follower. Of course the lady behind me took a picture with her camera. I didn't want to risk it- Santa was watching! December Updates!

It has been pretty quiet around here.... THANK GOODNESS! Ever since Eli hit the 2 month mark he has been much better. He is full of laugh and smiles. His favorite thing these days his sitting in his bouncy seat. We are really enjoying his new laid back attitude. Things have been quiet around the house since I have gone back to work. After working all day and spending as much time as possible with my boys time is flying by! I can't believe Eli will be 3 months home on x-mas! Time has flown by so fast we haven't even had a chance for Eli to see santa or help put up his first x-mas tree! Luckily he is too little to notice! Our Santa trip is scheduled for Sunday so check back wih us for his Santa picture. We are loving quiet time at home... here are a few pictures of bathtime, conversations with daddy and just hanging out in his bouncy seat.

A trip to the park with Samantha and Alexis. Manny felt sick so we got out of the house as long as we could. It worked! Eli is still going strong! No flu for him ;)

He weighs what??!!

Today is Eli's 2 month birthday! He had to go to the doctor and get his immunizations.... let me say this is the quietest day we have had yet! His dad said he was so brave and hardly cried. I couldn't handle going so Manny was in charge!
Are you ready for this......
Eli weighs 14 lbs and 15 oz and is 24 3/4 inches long. He is in the 95th percentile for both weight and height and 75th percentile for his head!
He is getting so big and fun to be with! He has really started to "talk" to us and give us big smiles...I love his smile :)
I went back to work last week and we did quite well with the transition. Manny was able to stay with him most of the days and they had a great time spending time together. He went to Ms. Camilles yesterday and apparently was a very good boy! I was very relieved... those who know Eli know why I would be worried (aunt lola you know how eil can be). We are so blessed for manny to be able to stay home a lot and to have Camille to watch him as well. It makes going back to work a breeze. I feel so good knowing he is in such good hands.

Fun At Home

Our little boy is growing so fast! Eli is 7 weeks old already! Eli is SLOWLY growing out of his fussiness.... I am just keeping my fingers crossed at three months he will be a sweet and calm baby (all prayers are welcome!) On Sunday he had his first professional pictures he he slept the whole time! I figured everyone needs a sleeping newborn picture.
Not much has been going on around here and we are just loving every minute together. Sadly I will be going back to work this week :( So, I Just wanted to share a few pictures of us hanging around the house.

In a class of his own.....

Well.. after our one month visit to the dr. we got Eli's latest stats................
Elijah weighs 12lbs 6 oz. and is 22 3/4 inches long. He is in good health and clearly a very healthy eater.

one month birthday continues!

I just had the chance to update some of the most recent pictures including those from Eli's one month birthday. Following in the footsteps of my friend Leslie- Eli posed for a picture with a sign so we could always remember this day!. Due to the lack of ink for our printer Mommy had to hand make his sign! Hopefully next month he will have a proper birthday sign!

All Labels: Today is Eli's one month birthday! I cannot believe how fast time goes. One month ago Eli was born at 12:07 pm. Eli has grown to be such a big boy since then. We visit the dr. this week so I will give an update of how big. By the feel of him I am guessing at least 11lbs! He has come a long way since 7lbs 15oz.... here are some pics from the last month.
